Course Content

This course covers the Level 1 & Level 2 food safety and hygiene skills required for all employees working in food service, retail, and manufacturing sectors.
This training has been developed in line with the exact requirements of the Food Safety Authority of Irelands guidelines on food safety training.

Course Objective

Explain why Food Safety is important
Describe food hygiene law and why HACCP is relevant
Identify the main food safety hazards and control measures
Outline food safety practices
Outline prerequisites to HACCP and the 7 principles of HACCP
Understand the requirements for establishing a HACCP system
Outline the importance of implementing and maintaining a HACCP system

Certification

You will receive a combined certificate for Level 1 & 2 Food Safety Training, valid for 3 years.
